Staying Warm in Style: Koolibi Winter Pop-Up at Cumberland View

As the cooler weather settles in, staying warm becomes more important than ever. That’s why today’s visit from Koolibi was such a welcome treat here at Cumberland View Retirement Living.

Koolibi brought their beautiful range of Ugg boots, slippers, and cosy winter apparel right to our village, turning the community centre into a pop-up boutique. Residents were thrilled to browse the collection of scarves, gloves, hats and more; with many finding the perfect winter essentials to keep snug and stylish during the season.

As we age, warmth plays a vital role in our overall comfort and health. Cold weather can worsen conditions like arthritis or respiratory issues, so having easy access to quality, thermal wear helps our residents feel cared for and supported.

Beyond the shopping, the event was a wonderful opportunity to connect. Residents gathered to share winter tips, swap style stories, and enjoy the company of neighbours, creating a real sense of community.

We’re grateful to Koolibi for their thoughtful visit and are excited to welcome them back for our end-of-year Christmas Market. Until then, our residents will be toasty, cheerful, and wrapped up in warmth.
