Spring Activities Cumberland View

What’s On in September Around Wheelers Hill

Part of the Cumberland View Village “Making the Move” Series

When you’re considering retirement living in Wheelers Hill, it’s not just about the home you choose; it’s about the life waiting for you outside your front door. At Cumberland View Village, our neighbours enjoy leafy surrounds, spacious homes, and a welcoming community. But we’re also one neighbourhood within the wider Monash community, where there’s always something happening.

One of the best ways to connect locally is through the PALS program (Positive Ageing Lifestyles Program), run by Monash Council. It brings together free and low-cost activities for older adults who live, work or visit Monash. Everything from exercise and art to lifelong learning.

Here’s what’s on in September.

Why This Matters When You’re Making the Move

Life at Cumberland View Village means having two layers of community: Inside the Village; where neighbours connect daily through shared activities and friendships. And beyond the Village; where Monash’s PALS program opens the door to arts, fitness, learning and social events.

When you’re making the move to retirement living in Wheelers Hill, you’re not just choosing a home you’re choosing a lifestyle full of connection, discovery and opportunities to stay active at any age.
