Last Friday, we had the pleasure of welcoming Briony from the Elder Rights Advocacy team. Briony provided our residents with crucial information on their rights and the support available to them. Her presentation was both informative and engaging, ensuring that everyone left with a better understanding of the resources and protections they are entitled to.

Understanding Elder Rights: Briony emphasized the importance of knowing one’s rights in aged care settings. Elder Rights Advocacy promotes the human rights of all older Victorians to receive safe, quality aged care.

Addressing Issues: The organization helps older people, their families, and representatives address issues related to Commonwealth-funded aged care services.
