March Highlights at Cumberland View Aged Care
March was full of movement, music, colour and connection here at Cumberland View Aged Care, as our residents embraced every moment of joy and togetherness.
We kicked off the month with a Filipino dance demonstration, which brought wonderful energy and smiles all around. Our heartfelt thanks go to the fabulous dancers who shared their culture and spirit with us. We also indulged in Shrove Tuesday pancakes and enjoyed a friendly BBQ under sunny skies – a perfect way to connect over delicious food.
Wellbeing and entertainment were in full swing with chair Tai Chi sessions led by Chris, live concerts with Laurel McKenna, and some toe-tapping fun dancing along to Alex Matthews. From grooving with the Golden Girls to enjoying soothing tunes by Boruch, our community was buzzing with activity.
Our St. Patrick’s Day celebrations were a hit, complete with themed drinks and green decor, and the sounds of Alex Kyle adding to the festive cheer. As always, we finished our week on a high with a wonderful happy hour – a time for good conversation, laughter, and great music.
A special mention also goes out to our relatives and volunteers – your continued support, time and energy mean the world to us. You help make Cumberland View the warm and welcoming home it is.
Here’s to more joyful moments and shared smiles ahead!
