Because we know that home is where most people choose to be, Cumberland View Home Care offers a range of services and personalised support at home. Our services are tailored to your specific needs and delivered on a consumer-directed care basis with the assistance of our dedicated Home Care Managers.
Our friendly and experienced Home Care Managers can assist you with every aspect of your care, supporting you to maintain independence at home for as long as possible. Support at Home Program
From 1 November 2025, the Australian Government’s new Support at Home program provides personalised support at home for older Australians. This program helps you remain healthy, active and socially connected to your community.
Support at Home brings together aged care support services into one program, ensuring that the support you need to stay at home is there when you need it. The program provides access to clinical care including nursing, physiotherapy and continence care, alongside support for everyday tasks like cleaning, gardening, shopping and meal preparation.

How to apply for Home Care
Registration
Register your details on My Aged Care. You’ll be referred to an Aged Care Assessment Services centre, where they will evaluate your needs for funded support at home.
Assessment
A comprehensive assessment will determine the level of support you need and your eligibility for the Support at Home program.
Research
While you are waiting for your funding to be approved, take the opportunity to get to know Cumberland View and what we have to offer.
Agreement
Once your support has been approved, you will enter a service agreement with your chosen provider.
Service Begins
If you have selected Cumberland View as your Home Care Provider, our Home Care Managers will guide you through the entire process.

Trent Thomason
Home Care Manager
Having received a Bachelor of Music in Music Therapy in 1999, I first began working in Home Care with Vision Australia in Bendigo in 2005. I then joined the team at Southern Cross Care in Lynbrook as a Care Manager in Home Care where I stayed for five years before launching the Home Care program at Cumberland View in 2013.
Trent was proudly recognised in 2025 for his incredible longevity and dedication, having been with Cumberland View for over 12 years.
Imke Malone
Home Care Manager
Imke provides dedicated support and guidance to our home care clients, ensuring personalised care that meets individual needs.
